Joyful mouse

Chill~lax

Now doesn't this look fun.  I loved this when I first saw it on Simon Says Stamp!  Love it.  Its quite a big area in which to color.  The chair taking up most of the color.   I used prismacolor pencils.   They are the best to use.  And a blending pen.   The stamp is by Penny Black.

Sailing by with a hello

This Ship stamp is from a set that a friend sent to me on my birthday.  I really like it for a man's kind of greeting card.   Here I used a navy blue card base with background papers from 7 gypsies 2 sided design paper.  Gotta love the paper!   It just screams traveling from afar....a journey from long ago.
The clouds in the background was added by me and my doodling.   I wanted to give the ships a clear day for sailing.   ;)  Mary

Thank you stopping in and hope you say "hello".

Write Home

I have always enjoyed letter writing.   I think that's why I enjoy making cards.

In fact~ writing is somewhat a passion of mine.   And I will do what I can to encourage those around me.   With a thinking of you....  or you're on my mind today.     What better way to show you care by making and sending cards for operation write home.   Here's the address if you feel led to send a card.   Operation Write Home

My husband served in the military and retired after 20 years.

Confetti Afghan

Here's another I'm working on....

I love the design of this one, like an Indian blanket motif hidden in the background.

the solid colors are just worked in however I feel like it should go...   I really couldn't "see" the entire look until it was laid out on the floor.   I will get a pic when its completed.   Just thought you'd like to see how its going thus far.   ;)   Mary

Christmas Afghan

This is my Christmas themed afghan.   There are so many lovely red and green skeins.   As you can see I even put in a nice grey.   I love how this one is turning out.   When its totally finished I will get another picture to show.

There's really no rhyme or reason to my creations.   I just enjoy the crafting experience.
The wicker hamper is crammed full of yarn neutral colors and earth tones.

And I have 2 that could be considered "Summer" themed.    They are done in a confetti mix.
I will show you in another post.

Thanks for coming by my place to visit.     Mary ;)
